I don't know if this'll show up in here since I get access to a lot of stuff for being an Astronomy magazine subscriber... but this is my new ( favorite picture )
"This image shows the galaxy cluster Abell 1689, with the mass distribution of the dark matter in the gravitational lens overlaid (in purple). The mass in this lens is made up partly of normal (baryonic) matter and partly of dark matter. Distorted galaxies are clearly visible around the edges of the gravitational lens."
I love pictures with tons of galaxies in them. How's that for perspective? |

Probably Jaws, considering I first saw it when I was about 5. For a week or two I thought there was a shark living under my bed, and I had to jump from my doorway to my bed without touching the floor or the shark would eat me. I'm sure my parents loved that. And no, I will never grow tired of it. The movie has just gotten better as I've gotten older and can understand the creepy nuance. Yay creepy nuance. ^_^ |
